Boxer 2010

Today, Carly Fiorina launched her first TV ad of the general election campaign -- and instead of talking about her record, she's attacking Barbara Boxer.
Of course, if I had a record of laying off American workers and shipping jobs overseas, I wouldn't want to discuss that record, either.
To close her new ad, Fiorina says she would "really go to work" for the people of California. But when she had the chance, Fiorina put profits over people.
Californians are tired of CEOs who take multi-million dollar bonuses and golden parachutes while the middle class suffers.
But to tell voters about the clear choice in this election, we need more resources to keep our ads on the air.
With Fiorina officially taking to the airwaves today, it's more important than ever that we redouble our efforts to get our message out. In just two weeks, Vote by Mail ballots will go out to millions of Californians -- so we need to reach those voters now.
That's why reaching our $500,000 grassroots fundraising goal before September 30 is so important:
Not only will reaching our goal help us fund more TV ads to counter Fiorina's negative message, but it will also send a powerful signal to the press and pundits about the strength of Barbara's support at the end-of-quarter deadline.
Can you chip in?
Thanks to the generosity of Boxer supporters, over the past 24 hours we've already raised more than $57,000 toward our $500,000 end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
But to ensure that we file a strong September 30 finance report, we need to work even harder to reach our goal.
That's why we're turning to you once more.
Thank you so much,
Rose Kapolczynski
Campaign Manager
Boxer for Senate
P.S. The September 30 deadline is just seven days away -- and between now and then, we still have some work to do to reach our big $500,000 grassroots fundraising goal. Please contribute now -- and help us reach it!
