First the Good News (see yesterday’s posting)

Managed to get home to the Caixa de Fósforos  last night just before a great little gully washer let loose, and then it dripped and lightly rained all night and has gotten progressively cooler all day... a nice slow light rain... just what we needed... the birds are singing, and the trees and bushes are filling the air with a nice fresh smell... one may almost believe that the rainy season finally has shown up... we will see.

And now for the good news:

Because it is raining the jackhammers haven’t been hammering away all day!
