The Ponderosa or After the gully washer along the Yellowstone

About 5 years ago the county parks folks came and began to cut all the heavily infested Ash Trees from the Park, they needed to as most were dead or dying of mistletoe infection. This oak was peaking up thru tree they were ng to cut, and I, in an act influenced by the tree sitters in redwoods and at UC Berkeely, begged them to save this oak. I amso glad I did as every year, he jsut gets better.

We had a grand rainstorm for about 2 hours this afternoon, I like the light and the squeaky clean air.
