From the Courage Campaign:

Dear Daniel --

They've lost it. They are out of touch. And they must be stopped.

Meg Whitman, Steve Poizner, Carly Fiorina, Tom Campbell, and the rest of the California Republican Party want to kill health care reform. And you're the only one that can stop them.

Last night, the House passed the final portion of the most far-reaching health care reform since Medicare, making care more affordable for millions of Californians and protecting us from losing our coverage when we need it the most. While we must keep working to achieve our goal of a single-payer system, it's an important step in the right direction.

While progressives celebrate the victory and start working to improve the bill, California Republicans have joined the ugly teabagger mob in trying to kill reform. Meg Whitman and Steve Poizner are both calling the health care bill unconstitutional -- they want the state to sue the federal government to stop President Obama's effort to cover the 25% of Californians who currently lack health insurance.

Carly Fiorina and Tom Campbell want to replace Barbara Boxer in the U.S. Senate so they can repeal health care reform. Fiorina is even circulating her own petition asking Californians to support repeal.

They must be stopped. Show California that you reject Republican efforts to repeal the President's health care reform. Add your name to the Courage Campaign's letter denouncing Republican plans to roll back affordable coverage and leave us at the mercy of the greedy insurance companies::

This is just the beginning. We are going get some answers to the questions we have about California Republicans' plans to repeal health care reform:

· Does Meg Whitman think it is unconstitutional to expand access to Medi-Cal?

· Does Steve Poizner think it is unconstitutional to prevent insurers from denying coverage to children?

· Does Tom Campbell want to repeal your right to keep your health care coverage if you get sick?

· Does Carly Fiorina want to repeal tax credits to help the middle class afford insurance??

That's exactly what California Republicans want to do in 2010. Republicans in the State Senate are even pushing a teabagger-inspired constitutional amendment that would not only block the health care reform bill from being implemented in California, but would prevent us from ever creating a state single-payer system.

Stop them from destroying health care reform. Reject the Republican repeal plan by adding your name to the Courage Campaign's letter. Click here to take a stand against the teabaggers leading the California Republican Party:

Together we will fight these right-wingers and ensure that health care reform works for all Californians.
