Via CFA: NEA NEEDS HELP NOW TO SAVE JOBS IN EDUCATION
The National Education Association (NEA) urges faculty to contact their House Representative to implore them to support including education jobs funding for K-12 and higher education in the emergency supplemental appropriations (funding) bill.
If higher education jobs are included in the package, this bill could fund over 50,000 jobs in higher education – jobs that are critical for fulfilling the missions of our colleges and universities.
Tell Congress this is an emergency -- the future of public education is at stake!
