Homer Price

 

When I first began teaching in the late 70's,  I came across this book - Homer Price by Robert McCloskey. The stories are great, and I always enjoyed reading them to the kids.  One of the stories, "The Mystery Yarn" was my favorite, and I had kids bring string  that we added to the ball... in sorting through our there it stuff was!
