***** MONDAY PROGRESS REPORT pt .2 *****
Ricardo (our driver we hire for things like this... you know post operational rescue from hospitals, airport, and drop off in a small corner of paradise...) came on time and we ditched my stuff in his car and I was in BH and Mirian's place by 430ish.
She has put me in her guest suite on the very top floor of her building. With a nice view and and open area with plants. I'll share fotos of that as things progress. I am really happy, since my pos-doc to UNM in Albuquerque had to be scrubbed, then the same with UFSM in Santa Maria, RS as well because of these infernal treatments.
I have a place to work on a book translation and well... who knows write my memoirs/memórias or the such...
The view from the room is great, and we are blocks from from nice museums and the Praça Liberdade. I am a 2.6 km - mostly flat - walk from the zapping. Mirian insists that I am not going to walk it, but I hope to as I need to.
Tomorrow I have a meeting with the doctor, and probably my first treatment. An easy taxi ride there, then I hope I can walk back...
