A grand day out in San Francisco
In and around Union Square while we waited to see Dame Edna at the Post Theatre...
Since the Theatre is near Union SquareMilton & I wandered around a bit and went for dinner in a terrible Chinese Restaurant in ChinaTown. After surviving it, we noticed this red tree down the hill and went to investigate. We found it in the plaza of the B of A tower. Amazing! Then we wandered over to Union Square to watch the lights on Macy's and the drags and Santas ice skating. There were throngs of Santas walking around... we think it was some sort of party... it was particularly Xmas-like (for me) with the absolutely freezing weather. Appropriate Xmas weather for Milton is hot and humid with pancadas de chuva (apocalyptic lightening storms with copious amounts of rain) and thousands of shoppers... they all appeared to be folks from abroad.
